Adam Ginsberg: Snipe Your Way To Auction SuccessBy Adam on October 6, 2009 | No Comments
Adam Ginsberg trains people all around the world on how to make money on eBay. So often, how much you sell an item for is determined by how much you pay for that item. As such, Adam Ginsberg stresses the importance of understanding how to become a successful buyer on eBay. And, in reality, bidding for a bargain is all part of the exciting eBay experience. One of the frustrating and disappointing aspects of eBay is when you get out bid at the very last moment prior to the auction ending.According to Adam Ginsberg, when buy on eBay and want to virtually “guarantee” a win every time…you’ll want to use a technique called “sniping”.
Sniping is the art of bidding at the last possible moment - let’s say, with less than 30 seconds to go in the auction.
Don’t worry, sniping is perfectly legal on eBay. Of course, it’s annoying when someone does it to you but it’s a highly effective way to win auctions…the challenge is that you have to be sitting at the computer ready to bid, just before the auction ends.
Here’s the challenge - you can’t always be on hand each time a selected auction reaches its final moments. It can mean having to log in many times each day or perhaps even in the middle of the night. According the Adam Ginsberg, the answer is using special sniping software.
So what is sniping software and how does it work?

Make Sure to Check Out HotSniper.com Today!
*******************************************************
Basically, it’s sophisticated software that enables you to choose your high bid in advance then let the software bid for you with a few seconds to go. It works automatically, regardless of whether your computer is on or off. So, you can pre-set your maximum bid and then do what you need to do away for the computer. In essence, it’s a “set and forget” bidding system. And, it’s very simple to use.
Here’s what you do. First, enter the details of each auction you’re interested in (i.e. the auction number) and second input the maximum amount you’re prepared to pay for the item.
That’s it.
Then, the software places your bid on your behalf in the very last SECONDS of the auction. This means that anyone bidding against you just hasn’t the time to place a counter bid. Auto snipers claim to be around 95 – 99 per cent successful in enabling you to win auctions this way.
If you are a buyer on eBay, this is a must have tool. In today’s busy environment who has time to sit in front of the computer when you can automate the entire process?
Adam Ginsberg recommends HotSniper.com for your buyer needs. HotSniper.com is the #1 sniping software available for auction success!

Adam Ginsberg Launches ShortenMe.net
Adam Ginsberg launches ShortenMe.net - another addition to the long list or URL shortening websites. What is ShortenMe.net anyway? ShortenMe.net is a URL shortener. URL shorteners transform ugly, long URLs into short ones that you can email without fear of them breaking - or include in Twitter tweets without using up too many characters.
What the headings mean
- URL length shows how many characters (including the http:// at the front) the shortened URL generated for this site’s homepage was. The first figure is the base length (EG http://shortenme.net/ is 20 characters), the second number is the short code generated (this can vary from 4 to 6 characters at most services - popular services have used up all the 4-character ones already, so it might be good to start using a new service! The result is that you can expect ShortenMe.net to change to 20+5 if this post is very popular!), and the final number is the total.
- Custom name - whether you can choose your own memorable short-code or not (rather than the random string of letters automatically generated). Not all services offer this feature
.
It simple and easy to use. For example, if I wanted to promote something at AdamGinsbergBlog.com I might use ShortenMe.net reduce the number of characters in the URL. If you wanted to promote an Adam Ginsberg affiliate offer - or any affiliate offer for that matter, you could use a URL shortening service like ShortenMe.net to “mask” and shorten your affiliate link.
I purchased this service for 2 reasons. First, I thought it would be cool to own a shortening website. And, secondly I really liked the name.
So, try it out today and see how it works. Go there now and have fun!

Adam Ginsberg’s Airline ExperiencesBy Adam on April 8, 2009 | 3 Comments
I get the pleasure of traveling all around the world and meeting some spectacular people in my journey. And, these days I’ve even taken to twitter my flying experiences. You can follow me here: http://twitter.com/adamginsbergHowever, there’s more to world travel and jet setting than meets the eye. First, there’s the long lines at the airport. Yes, most of these are avoided when you check in at first class - but even then, getting to the airport 2 hours early and standing in line - for anything - simply isn’t fun.
Then it’s “check in baggage” time. This is a pain in the ass. Every airline has different rules and every airline has restrictions different than one another - and some of these rules simply make no sense. On some airlines a bag carry on is allowed to be a carry on. On other airlines, a carry on (in size is fine) unless it weighs less than 14 pounds. Then, it must be checked in.
Some airlines allow two pieces of check luggage while others allow three. Some allow up to 50 pounds, while others allow up to 70 pounds. Some airlines charge for each extra bag and others charge for the weight of each extra bag.
There’s so much to air travel that’s inconvenient - like going through security. Yes, I understand it’s for my protection…but some of the rules simply make no sense. For example, if I fly on Virgin America I am not allowed to bring my 3 ounces of liquid through security, but I can have full 100% access to my wireless internet from 34,000 feet in the air.
Singapore Air and Air New Zealand are by far my favorite airlines for long 12+ hour flights. United has updated their planes for most routes, but their flight attendees really could use an attitude adjustment.
Aer Lingus - I don’t like them very much…I think they probably like me less than I like them. They’re rules and customer staff were so rude, we ended up getting into a shouting match. Heck, I was almost escorted out of the airport…but that’s okay, there’s other ways to get to Dublin like on BMI - a much better airline anyway.
In Singapore you don’t have to take your laptop out of your bag for security. Air New Zealand has fresh squeezed Orange Juice. On United’s new plane you can sit backwards facing. Virgin America is by far the best domestic US airline.
This post could be a book of observations, insights and stories on how and when to fly…but here’s something to think about.
Recently I was on a United flight from Melbourne to Sydney to Los Angeles. My Melbourne to Sydney flight was delayed so I took Virgin Blue to Sydney (from Melbourne). There were two of us flying with 3 bags each. On United, each of the 6 bags are free to travel with but on Virgin Blue you have to pay $8 PER KILO. Our six bags weighed 120 Kilos. What the #$^@$%^. The tickets cost $49 each per person. Our cost to bring the bags…$960.
I went to the supervisor to inquire why there is no passenger weight restriction. In other words, if Person A buys a ticket for $49 and Person B buys a ticket for $49 - doesn’t the airline ask how much the passenger weighs? Of course not, that would be discrimination. Do fat people pay for their plane tickets than skinny people? Do 50 year olds pay more or less than 15 year olds? No, No, No.
So if a person isn’t charged by their weight, why should they be charged by the weight of their bags? 3 bags - and a set bag fee - is fine. But $8 per Kilo? Absurd, Stupid, Ridiculous, and no choice. The saving grace is the customer team was nice…much nicer than the people at Aer Lingus. Virgin Blue may have their rules - but that’s one airline I won’t be flying on any time soon…
More airline experiences to come…

Adam Ginsberg says Prosperity is a MindsetBy Adam on March 11, 2009 | No Comments
I watch the news every day - perhaps differently than most people do. Mostly I watch the news when I’m at the gym doing my cardio routine. And, since I’m at the gym 7 days a week I have the chance to watch plenty of news. So, how do I watch it differently than most?
When I’m at the gym I have two television monitors in front of me - one change is CNN and the other is FOX News. It’s a fascinating study in media psychology and mindset as you can literally watch the same story unfold on both channels and yet get two viewpoints so diametrically opposed you would think they were worlds apart.
With that being said, there is one common thread on both channels and that is one of dispair. How many more times do we have to hear that we are “in the worst recession since the great recession”.
I can appreciate that America is struggling. We have struggled economically in the past and we will struggle again in the future - it’s the ebb and flow of any ecomic cycle. And it’s fascinating how many people now say they “saw it coming”. You had to be living under a rock not to have known there was a bubble ready to burst. The only question was “when” and not “if”. Heck, you can only blow up a balloon so much before it’s simply going to explode. And it can take a long time to blow up a balloon…but when it pops it deflates instantaneously.
As I travel around the world and speak to thousands of people a month - teaching them how to make money online using sites like eBay, Amazon, Overstock, Craigslist and Google - I’m noticing now, more than ever that people are serious about making a change in their life.
If there’s one thing the media has done well - it’s scare the heck out of people to cut back on spending and save more. One thing people are not cutting back on though, is making an investment in themselves. At sold out live 3 day trainings (attendance is way up), people are investing now in themselves more than they ever have because now people understand that it’s critical they take control of their own financial future.
It’s so easy to get caught up in media bias - but with everything you hear and everything you read, remember this. People made fortunes during the great depression. While a terrible period in history for so many people, there were others who achieved great prosperity.
Do I believe people are challenged? Yes, absolutely. Do I believe this is the worst depression since the great depression? Categorically no!
I do believe however that we are in the greatest period of prosperity and opportunity in the last 50 years. People will make fortunes and become millionaires in the next 18-24 months - and I will help many of them to achieve their goals.
Just thinking positively isn’t going to help your financial situation. Thought without action won’t get you anywhere. But, change your mindset and believe you can. If you do, you’ll achieve more than if you think you can’t. Really, it’s not “why am I in this mess”, it’s “what can I do to take advantage of the situation I’m in to yield the best results.”
You might want to start by changing the channel and watching something other than the news.
Let’s take a stand - let’s make a different in our lives and the world. It’s time that you take control of your own financial future and the best time to do it is now!
